On Monday, June 19, 2023 the Glencoe District Lions club held it’s annual President’s Dinner outside on the new deck of the Glencoe train station. Over 20 members, and spouses, attended the meeting and enjoyed a roast beef dinner with all the trimmings. Also in attendance was District Governor Ev Spiering-Waite and her husband (weekend partner?) Lion Rick Waite,
District Governor Ev Spiering-Waite inducted 2 new Lions members to the club. From left to right, Lion Sondra Sasse sponsored returning Lion Mary Hamilton. Lion Sue MacFadden sponsored new member Lion Carla Dodorico from Apprin area.
District Governor Ev also inducted the new Board of Directors for the coming year. Above new President, Terry Plant gives his first speech to the club, thanking past President Bill Sasse for all his hard work during the past year and giving the club some objectives for the new year.
